Immerse Yourself In New Cultures

Zoi Traiforos ’20
Institute for American University,
Aix en Provence, France

“If you have any interest in going to another country, make it a reality. Just ask if it is possible, then work to make it happen. Don’t fear leaving friends. Media keeps people connected. You’ll also make new friends quickly, and travel together.

You’ll return home with an appreciation for other cultures, as well as our own. Whether it’s to another town or another country, travel and be open to learning from those around you!”

Faculty-Led Trips

Want to travel and visit another country but not sure a semester long trip is for you? Faculty-led trips are another great way to experience travel abroad and are much shorter in duration. Usually faculty-led trips are held over spring breaks or during the summer. Faculty-led trips most recently have included visits to India, Chile, Costa Rica, Italy, Canada, and Paris.
