Anna Maria College’s Student Nurses Association (SNA) recently wrapped up another successful sock drive for Worcester Veterans Inc., a local non-profit serving those who have served our country.

For several years now, SNA members have made it their mission to collect socks for the Grove Street organization, where veterans sometimes arrive in wet boots and socks. According to staff at Worcester Veterans Inc., a fresh pair of dry socks can make all the difference for someone who’s had a difficult day.

This fall, SNA collected donations throughout campus, including at the Homecoming/Fall Fest/Family Weekend football game in September. This past Sunday, our student nurses visited the non-profit to deliver over 600 pairs of socks.

It’s a simple gesture with meaningful impact—thank you to the Student Nurses Association for your dedication to supporting veterans in our community.
