Team Apex had a rough night last Monday, fighting through every match to hold onto their top 3 spot in the group standings. The pressure was on, but they stayed in the fight. A bright spot for the team was the debut of freshman Ben Milgate, who transferred in from Team SSBU. Milgate came out strong, making an immediate impact in his first game of the season. Despite the tough battles, Apex looks like they’ve secured a playoff spot and will aim to finish strong next week.

On Tuesday, Team Street Fighter and Team 2K both handled business with fast, decisive wins. Both teams looked confident and in control from start to finish. These victories push them closer to locking in their playoff spots, and they’ll be looking to carry that momentum next week.

Wednesday was a tough one for Team SSBU. Ben Milgate, after shining on Monday, returned to SSBU only to face his first loss of the season. Every match was close, and Milgate kept the pressure up, but it just wasn’t enough to grab the win. SSBU now turns their focus to bouncing back and reclaiming a victory in their next showing.

By Thursday, Team Overwatch was back in action and locked into a tight matchup. They found their rhythm early and didn’t let up. With Dylan McLaughlin leading in-game, the team was in sync, playing with purpose and pushing for every advantage. It was a full team effort, and they closed out the night with a solid win against a tough opponent.

Friday was quiet for Team Overwatch as they entered their ECC bye week. It gave them a much-needed chance to rest, reset, and prepare for a big playoff matchup coming up this Friday, November 14, against the University of New Haven.

Player of the week is Bobby Boryca IV, Captain, Overwatch Support Player
