Job description: Anna Maria College is seeking candidates for an adjunct pool to teach courses in French and French culture courses, particularly geared toward the Haitian community. Preferred candidates will be experienced and skilled in giving courses that incorporate community-based vocabulary and cultural practices to train students of all language abilities and various majors to apply French to their career in nursing, criminal justice, social work and other fields. Our curriculum prioritizes the training of effective and compassionate professionals to serve the community.
Minimum qualifications: Master’s required.
Preferred qualifications: Ph.D. desirable. The most qualified candidates will also demonstrate a willingness to engage in student recruitment and retention and support the development of programs and initiatives in an adaptable and collegial manner.
