Why did you select Anna Maria College as your graduate school?
I completed my undergraduate degree at Anna Maria College, for me, the decision was easy, I didn’t even research any other graduate programs.
What are your favorite things about the MSW program?
The support from faculty and the diversity among the students.
What do you hope to achieve in the future with your graduate degree?
I have obtained my LCSW, and the next step is to obtain my LICSW. I hope to continue growing in my career as a Licensed Social Worker.
Where do you currently work and what do you enjoy about your career?
I am currently a Program Director for Open Sky Community Services. I enjoy helping the individuals we serve, being a leader and role model for my staff, and I absolutely love learning something new every single day.
What is the most rewarding aspect of being a social worker?
Making a difference in people’s lives.
What should prospective students know about Anna Maria’s MSW program?
Anna Maria’s MSW program is what shaped me into the professional I am today. The curriculum and faculty are hands down who I have to thank for being where I am today!
