Why I Chose Anna Maria:
I choose Anna Maria for the small community and for the great academics. The small community allows you to have strong relationships with your professors. I knew right away when I pulled into campus for a tour that Anna Maria was the one for me.
My favorite memories:
My favorite memory from my time at Anna Maria was being able to make friendships that will last a lifetime. In 2021, Programs and Activities Council (PAC) had an amazing spring carnival that was so much fun and I’m glad I was able to be a part of it. I also have enjoyed going to the Woo Sox games!
My greatest accomplishment:
My greatest accomplishment during my four years at Anna Maria would be writing my honors thesis. I put a lot of time and effort into writing it.
What I will miss:
I will miss being able to see my friends and professors every day. I was able to create great friendships and my professors, especially Dr. Stefanie Howe, have really helped me throughout my time here. Without them I would not be the person I am today.
My future plans:
I plan to go into the field of Parks and Recreation. I am glad I was able to find what I love through my two internships through Anna Maria. Thanks to my internship experiences, I have had a few interviews with some Parks and Recreation departments in Massachusetts already!
Advice for the class of 2027:
My advice for the class of 2027 would be to enjoy every moment because before you know it you will be graduating. Make sure you go to class and do your homework!
