First Year & Incoming Transfer Students

We are so excited to welcome you to campus! If you are interested in living on-campus for the Fall 2023 semester, please make sure to complete the Housing Application & Agreement by July 15, 2023.

New students who have applied to live on-campus will receive their housing assignment and roommate contact information by August 1, 2023.

New Student Orientation and New Student Move-In Day is scheduled for Friday, August 25, 2023. Students will be able to move into their residence halls at the start of the Welcome Weekend schedule.

Before Arriving To Campus

Contact Your Roommates

Along with your housing assignment, you’ll also receive contact information for your new roommate. Roommates who connect with one another before coming to campus have more positive living experiences and build stronger relationships. You can also work out logistics such as who will bring larger items such as a television or refrigerator.

Make Sure You Have What You Need

All residence hall rooms have a standard set of furniture: Twin XL bed frame and mattress, desk, desk chair, dresser, and wardrobe or closet. All furniture must remain in residence hall rooms.

You can view the Anna Maria College Packing List online to make sure that you’re ready for your on-campus move. The list goes over some recommended essentials, items to decorate your space, recommended technology items, and more! Please remember, this is a recommended list and if you have any specific questions on what to bring, you can always reach out to the Office of Residence Life at reslife@annamaria.edu.

In addition to the packing list, Anna Maria College partners with Collegiate Concepts to offer students the opportunity to rent a MicroFridge directly from them! Collegiate Concepts will work to drop off all units prior to move-in, and will pick them up at the end of the academic year. You can find more information on pricing, unit information, etc. right on their website.

Review Residence Life Webpage

Make sure to review the Residence Life Webpage to learn about the staff in your building, seek leadership opportunities, and learn more about your residence halls! You can also review the Residence Hall Policies. This document highlights important information such as the guest policies, prohibited items, and occupancy information. All of this can help you in having a successful semester living on-campus!
