Monday night was a rough one for Team Apex. Week after week, it’s been nothing but
adversity, but we keep showing up and grinding through it. The upside? We’re seeing
serious progress every time out, especially from Gene Martin, who’s been stepping up in a
big way. Each match gets us closer to locking in that playoff spot, and the team knows it.
Even after the loss, Team Apex still holds the number three spot in their group.

Tuesday brought another tough loss for Team Street Fighter. But the playoffs aren’t off the
table yet. Aaron Vazquez is still on the hunt. On the flip side, Team 2K came through with a
big win in a tight matchup, thanks to a strong showing from Sebastion Jouissance. Both
squads are still in the fight, clawing their way toward that ultimate goal: a playoff run.

Wednesday was all business for the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate team. Freshman Ben
Milgate
made quick work of his opponent again. This one wrapped up in record time and
officially secured his playoff spot. Locked in and ready.

Thursday was a heartbreaker for both Team Rocket League and Team Overwatch. They
went head-to-head with strong opponents and came up just short. The wins were within
reach but slipped away. Now it’s back to the lab. Both teams are tightening up and aiming
to bring Thursdays back into the winning column.

Friday night closed out the week strong with a clean, confident win from Team Overwatch
in ECC. That victory officially locked them in as the number one seed heading into
playoffs, putting us in a great position to chase down another conference title this season.

Player of the week is Dominic Lynch, Overwatch Support Player, Assistant In-Game Leader
