What motivated you to join Anna Maria’s MBA program?
What motivated me to join Anna Maria’s MBA program was the ability to complete my MBA in one year, being able to use my last year of eligibility for volleyball and gaining 150 credits to become a CPA. Additionally, the Admissions team helped me with getting a scholarship.
What are your favorite aspects of Anna Maria’s MBA program?
My favorite aspects of Anna Maria’s MBA program are that I can accelerate the program to get my degree in one year, the flexibility of my professors with my athletic schedule, and the variety of courses I get to take to expand my knowledge of the business world.
Anna Maria’s welcoming and inclusive environment made me feel like I belonged as soon as I walked on campus. My coaches, teammates, professors, and roommates were all very welcoming and friendly. Anna Maria has a tight-knit community that is difficult to replicate at a bigger school.
What are your future goals once you earn your MBA?
My future goal is to pursue my CPA once I have earned 150 credits from my master’s program. I have a job offer in tax accounting once I graduate so I will continue working in that field.
What advice would you give to students thinking about pursuing their MBA?
My advice for students thinking about pursuing their MBA is to do research on what degree will best benefit your career goals. While pursuing an MBA make sure that you stay on top of work and designate time to complete assignment. Time management is very crucial to doing well while getting an MBA.
I am proud to be an AMCAT because athletics on campus represent more than just sports, they represent a culture of teamwork and inclusivity.
