Dear Students,
I hope this letter finds you and those you love safe and well.
We have been busy preparing our classes and are looking forward to beginning an exciting fall semester at Anna Maria College. We’re counting the days until you’re back in the classroom (in person or remotely) beginning Monday, August 24th.
I’m writing to provide you with some information and updates about your academic schedule, our Engage learning platform (your remote classroom), and a few other pieces of information that might be helpful as you look ahead.
We have been adjusting the course schedule to reflect the various ways our classes will be delivered. When you look at your academic schedule you will see classroom locations and days/times your classes are offered. All campus classrooms are set up with a webcam and tripod about 10-12 feet away from where your professor will be teaching. Some courses will be taught in person and others will be taught remotely. Some of you will be learning on campus, taking courses in person, in classrooms that are set up for safe social distancing. Others will be attending all classes remotely through Engage/Zoom. All of your courses, in person or remote, will be found in Engage.
