A few weeks ago, the Anna Maria College Art Department opened the Spring semester with their All-Student Art Show. Held in the Miriam Hall Gallery, students across different majors and studies were able to showcase their art projects they had spent the last semester working on. Pizza and refreshments were also provided, as students, faculty, and visitors were able to enjoy the various art pieces.
For Everyone, With Art in Different Forms
One of the core aspects of the Art Show is to encompass all of Anna Maria’s student body. Students who aren’t pursuing an art degree are given the opportunity to have their projects displayed in the Gallery for art lovers to enjoy. The Anna Maria Arts Department truly spreads the love of the arts to art students, students from other majors, and art viewers with this event.
The Art Show included projects in all different mediums, including sketches, paintings, photographs, and mixed media pieces, highlighting Anna Maria’s many different classes in the Art’s Program of Study. The classes showcased included Intro to Sculpture, Graphic Design, Digital Design, Photography, Videography, Calligraphy and Layout Design, and many more.
