Anna Maria College has filed for bankruptcy protection under Chapter 11. This step was taken by the Board of Trustees following consultation with outside legal counsel, independent accountants, and the College’s bondholder.
All compensation obligations to employees have been fully met. Ongoing work in support of students, including teach-out and transfer partnerships, will continue.
As this is an active legal matter, the College will not offer further public comment on the bankruptcy filing.
