The AMCAST: Matthias Neumann

International Artist Matthias Neumann is recognized nationally and internationally for his work. As part of the Campus Sculpture Program administered by Professor David Wackell, Anna Maria College is honored to feature three sculptures that Neumann created specifically for our campus. They are part of his works called “Basics” which have three features: Basic material, Public display, and temporary. In this AMCAST episode, Neumann discusses the creative process, his work as an artist, and what he hopes these pieces bring to Anna Maria.
