College in New England: A Summer Tour for International Secondary School Students

Deciding which college to attend is an important chapter in anyone’s life journey. The excitement of touring new places and discovering your academic aspirations are all part of the college experience. While connecting with different campuses is fun and informative, it can also be a complicated and time-consuming process, especially for international students who may be unfamiliar with the region.

Anna Maria College is dedicated to helping students explore the world of education. This summer we are welcoming 10th and 11th grade international students to stay on our campus as they tour local universities and colleges. New England is a region known for its rich history, natural landscapes, and prominent education. The Summer Tour Package will cost $2900 per person and will provide international students unparalleled access to college tours and help them decide which educational institution is right for them. From turning our sprawling 190-acre Paxton campus into a home away from home, to coordinating transportation, Anna Maria College will be with you every step of the way during this comprehensive educational tour.

Colleges on the Summer Tour include:

Tour Highlights

The International Summer Tour at Anna Maria College was specifically designed to address the needs of touring 10th and 11th grade (graduation years 2024 and 2025) international students. Whether it is learning about the grading system in the United States and preparing for college interviews or having a safe and scenic campus to stay at during the summer, Anna Maria College is ready to help international students familiarize themselves with American higher education. Read more about our Summer Tour highlights below.

We would like to remind students and families to plan accordingly if you wish to have access to international calling capabilities. Free Wi-Fi will be available on campus, but students will be responsible for any necessary SIM cards or International Phone Plans.

Stay at Anna Maria College

The International Summer Tour will be staffed by two professional college counselors, five Anna Maria College upperclass students, and three full time Anna Maria College Admissions Staff.

Students will be housed on campus in air conditioned rooms with access to free Wi-Fi. The floors will be staffed by a Resident Assistant and staff member of the college. Students will also be given 3 meals a day. The campus is located in a quiet suburb, 20 minutes from the second largest city in New England – Worcester Mass. Worcester is home to over 35,000 college students and is approximately 1 hour from Boston MA.

Students will stay in South Hall. The facility is air-conditioned and offers a mix of double and single rooms. There is a large main lounge with a large flat screen television, kitchenette, and free wifi.
