Program Overview

The Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Business (CAGSB) strengthens the academic credentials of professionals who have already earned an MBA degree. To accommodate the ongoing needs for professional development, the program will update, enhance, and expand the executive’s knowledge and expertise. We currently offer our CAGSB in 5 concentrations:

  • General Business
  • Health Administration
  • Human Resource Management
  • Industrial Organizational Psychology
  • Marketing

This certificate program requires a Master’s of Business Administration (MBA).

How to Apply
Course of Study

How to Apply

  • Application: Apply using the Anna Maria College Online Application.
  • MBA Degree: Provide evidence of an earned Master’s of Business Administration from a regionally accredited United States college or university, or an equivalent degree from a nationally accredited institution outside the United States.
  • Two References: Submit the names and contact information of two references acquainted with the applicant’s ability and aptitude for graduate study. In cases where a student may have been away from an academic setting for several years, employers and supervisors may be a reference.
  • 2.7 GPA or Higher: Provide evidence of a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.7 and an undergraduate record that demonstrates your ability to be successful in graduate studies.
  • Personal Statement: Provide, in writing, a personal statement (minimum 500 words) that demonstrates your commitment to graduate studies and reflects your writing skills.
