Jason Travers is a painter who has a commitment to various aspects of art education. With over twenty years of teaching, he has taught painting, drawing, design, and all levels of art history. Currently, he teaches American Art History at Anna Maria.

He has shown his work at Stephen Haller Gallery, in New York; Lenore Gray Gallery, in Providence; and Lascano Gallery in Great Barrington, MA. He has also shown his work at Wheaton College, Montserrat College of Art, and Merrimack College. In 2016 Jason was invited to be visiting artist at Hamline University in St. Paul, MN.

He earned his BFA in painting from the Art Institute of Boston, and his M.F.A. in painting from American University. He lives and works in Providence, RI.
