Biography:
Dr. John Pratico is the Director of Psychology at Anna Maria College. He began teaching at the College in the Spring 2014 semester as an adjunct faculty member. Dr. Pratico also teaches for Fitchburg State University in the Psychological Sciences department. He has taught General Psychology, Human Growth & Development, Abnormal Psychology, Personality, and Social Psychology at the undergraduate level. Dr. Pratico also teaches several courses in the Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology program at Anna Maria. Dr. Pratico received his Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Anna Maria College, his Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies from Lesley University, and his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology. He completed his postdoctoral fellowship at Metrowest Neuropsychology in Westborough, MA. He has worked with children, adolescents and adults in community health centers, psychiatric hospitals, schools, and private practice settings across the Commonwealth. He is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor as well as a Licensed Psychologist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

He also plays tennis and enjoys playing board games with his wife, family, and friends.
