Explore Your Faith
Campus Ministry focuses on the care of the whole person: spiritually, emotionally, intellectually and physically as he or she relates to his or her own life and relationship with God. Our goal is to offer opportunities for faith development for all religions through encouraging a personal relationship with God and building a faith community on campus.
Responding to ethical issues and participating in projects that highlight peace and justice in our world are priorities. Campus Ministry programs offer a forum to engage in discussions with faculty, staff, administrators, and students on topics that are relevant to culture and society.

FellowshipFellowship
Campus Ministry strives to nurture and grow the community of Anna Maria College through opportunities for fellowship. These events are offered to bring students, faculty and staff together to further relationships and connections on campus. Fellowship can vary from discussion around current events to games and competitions. We also host monthly Family Suppers following the 5 PM Sunday Mass where we’ll gather for good food and conversation.
Campus Ministry serves the student body and Anna Maria College community by providing chances to connect through faith, beliefs and the commonality of the human experience. These opportunities speak directly to the commitment of Campus Ministry to care for the whole person. Campus Ministry also has a lounge located next to Madore Chapel, where students can come to relax, enjoy each other’s company, and find some peace and quiet.
Liturgical Life & Worship
During the academic year in Madore Chapel of Cardinal Cushing Hall, Sunday Mass is held at 5 p.m., while during the week Mass is offered at noon on Monday – Wednesday and a Communion Service is held at noon on Thursday. If you would like to have a loved one remembered at Mass, contact Campus Ministry.
In addition to Mass, spiritual direction and the Sacrament of Reconciliation are also available to members of the Anna Maria community. Spiritual direction is available for those who would like to deepen their faith or simply want to talk one-on-one with a member of the Campus Ministry staff. The Sacrament of Reconciliation is available on Sundays from 4 PM – 4:45 PM in the Madore Chapel Sacristy or by appointment—call (508) 849-3280 or email Father Stephen Lundrigan at slundrigan@annamaria.edu.
Spiritual Development
We offer a variety of ways for students to deepen their faith and strengthen their relationship with God and one another. Weekly small group faith sharing provides an opportunity for students to gather to share and support one another in faith and hope. How to Wednesday programs combine spirituality, social justice, fellowship, and more in fun monthly events. Students are also given the opportunity to be spiritual leaders by assisting in running Confirmation retreats for local area parishes.
RCIA Sessions (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults) are for those individuals interested in becoming Catholic or completing their sacraments of initiation (Baptism, Eucharist or Confirmation). These sessions consist of weekly prayerful reflection and discussion of central aspects of the Catholic faith and tradition. To learn more about any of these opportunities come visit us on the Lower Level of Foundress Hall or email campusministry@annamaria.edu.
