Job description: Anna Maria College is seeking candidates for an adjunct pool to teach courses in Spanish and Spanish culture courses, particularly geared toward the Latino community. Preferred candidates will be experienced and skilled in giving courses that incorporate community-based vocabulary and cultural practices to train students of all language abilities and various majors to apply Spanish to their career in nursing, criminal justice, social work and other fields. Our curriculum prioritizes the training of effective and compassionate professionals to serve the community.
The most qualified candidates will also demonstrate a willingness to engage in student recruitment and retention and support the development of programs and initiatives in an adaptable and collegial manner.
Qualifications: Master’s required; Ph.D. desirable. Preference will be given to candidates that can also teach a second foreign language.
