Biography
Michael Bertolami worked for many years as a performing musician playing electric bass as a part of several working original and cover bands. For the last 20 years he has worked as a music therapist in the Lower School program at Perkins School for the Blind in Watertown, Massachusetts with multi-impaired/visually impaired children. He maintains a private music therapy practice, providing home based and site based group and individual music therapy services to children and adults with a wide range of multiple impairments and disabilities. He was also formerly employed as the Department Chairperson of the Music Therapy Program at Powers Music School in Belmont Massachusetts. He serves as a practicum and internship supervisor for undergraduate and graduate music therapy students from Anna Maria College, Berklee College of Music, and Lesley University.
