Biography
Currently Channing Shippen is a Music Therapist at Tufts Medical Center & Tufts Children’s Hospital. She has a background in hospice, medical and community music therapy. She has held positions as a Pediatric Music Therapist at the Jimmy Fund Clinic at Dana Farber Cancer Institute, as Expressive Therapies Coordinator of the Day Program at Rogerson House, a memory care provider in Jamaica Plain, MA, as Assistant Director of Recreation & Expressive Therapies at the Riverside Premier Rehabilitation & Healing Center, and she served as a music therapy contractor and social media manager at Roman Music Therapy Services in Boston. Channing Shippen is currently the Vice-President of the New England Region of the American Music Therapy Association.
