The Anna Maria College Music Department will present the Wind Ensemble under the direction of Miriam Jensen in a Spring Concert on Saturday afternoon, April 23rd, 2022 at 2:00 PM in Zecco Auditorium, Foundress Hall on the Anna Maria College campus.
The concert is free of charge.
The first half of the program will include classic works for concert band by Vaughn Williams, Arnold, Sheldon and Giovannini. The second half will include popular works for concert band such as ‘When you Wish Upon a Star’, and selections from ‘Les Miserables’. The Wind Ensemble will also feature three student trumpet players in the performance of ‘Bugler’s Holiday’ by Leroy Anderson. The three trumpets are sophomore Conrad Waack, junior Christopher Hanks and freshman Angela Quartarone.
