Recovery City is a documentary focusing on women in recovery in Worcester. The film follows four women in various stages of recovery who are telling their stories in overlapping first-person narratives.  Recovery City is described by the director as follows “At its core, a comeback story. One of strength and resilience. A story of overcoming rather than succumbing.”

Please join us to view a rough cut of the first hour of the film, followed by a panel session with myself, the filmmaker, and the women Recovery City.  This screening is also a fundraiser and designed so that the audience can provide written feedback after the film.

Please check out the trailer: You may recognize the folks in the film:  Officer Janis Bianculli, Rebecca Zwicker, Bridget Del Rio and Christine Maider!  Recovery City Trailer.

The tickets are free.  Students, faculty, and staff are welcome to register beforehand, but it is not required.  Light refreshments will be served.
