Certificate in Financial Planning

Program Overview

Anna Maria’s Certificate in Financial Planning is CFP Board certified through a consortium of colleges in partnership with Rize Education. Upon completion, students will have met the criterion to sit for the CFP Exam and obtain the CFP certification. The program is broken into seven, 8-week courses, where students will engage in various weekly asynchronous activities (projects, videos, threaded discussions) and cooperative peer-project activities. 

The Director for the Business Program must be advised and approve student eligibility. At minimum, the student must have successfully completed their freshman year (or 30 + credits) with a GPA of 2.7 in their major. The student must successfully complete these classes with a C+ or better to stay enrolled.
