Campus Ministry

Campus Ministry focuses on the care of the whole person; spiritually, emotionally, intellectually and physically as they relate to their own life and their relationship with God. Our goal is to offer opportunities for faith development through encouraging a personal relationship with God and building a faith community on campus.

Faith development takes on many forms: worship and liturfy, sacramental preparation, retreats, faith education, spirituality, formation for leadership, pastoral counseling, spiritual direction, community building, social activities, and service outreach. An alive faith extends far beyond the walls of a chapel and color how we live all our days.

{showhide}Responding to ethical issues and participating in projects that highlight peace and justice in our world are priorities. Campus Ministry programs offer a forum to engage in discussions with faculty, staff, administrators, and students on topics that are relevant to culture and society. Campus Ministry also sponsors lectures and activities that make faith and justice real components of living out the Gospel.

Since AMC is a Catholic college, our programs flow from our Catholic tradition and stress the practices of the Catholic religion. However, all our programs are open to non-Catholics and take into account the interfaith reality of our campus population. {/showhide}

I'm very independent, fearless, and outgoing.
I'm all about
fun and having a good time. I have
danced
for 15 years, and that is my passion. My family
and friends
mean the world to me!

Getting involved on campus is such a good and also fun way to
meet friends. I have attended many events, meetings, and
activities, but being a part of the Day of Caring was my absolute
favorite. It was so rewarding and such a great feeling to know I
helped out the community. Supporting the sports teams and
attending the basketball games this fall was a lot of fun.

Throwing on your AMCAT apparel and cheering in the stands is

such a good time!
