Music Performance Major
Performing careers require intensive, high-level training. Pianists and vocalists can begin that training by choosing the performance program, which aims to bring students to a professional level of musicianship in order to pursue further study at the master's level, usually required for a successful concert or teaching career.
Bachelor of Music in Music Performance
In addition to College requirements, Music Performance majors must complete:
Music History I & II
Compositional Techniques I
Senior Recital
Compositional Techniques II-IV
Ear Training I-IV
Piano Class I- IV
Form and Analysis I & II
Individual Studio Instruction in Major Instrument
Ensemble
Additional courses are required for Voice or Piano concentrations.
